Getting Started

Connect your AWS account in under 5 minutes.

Step 1: Sign up

Go to getinfradesk.com/login and sign in with your Google account. No credit card required for the Free plan.

Step 2: Connect your AWS account

GetInfraDesk connects to your AWS account using a secure IAM role via CloudFormation. This is the safest way to grant access — no long-term credentials are stored.

1. From your dashboard, click "+ Add Account"
2. Click "Deploy with CloudFormation"
3. You will be redirected to AWS CloudFormation console
4. Review the stack and click "Create stack"
5. Wait ~2 minutes for the stack to complete
6. Return to GetInfraDesk — your account will be connected automatically

Step 3: Run your first scan

Once connected, GetInfraDesk automatically scans your AWS account for waste across EC2, EBS, RDS, and Elastic IPs. Your first results appear within 30 seconds.

Step 4: Review and fix

Each detected issue shows:

• Why it was flagged
• Estimated monthly savings
• Risk level (Low / Medium / High)
• Whether it is reversible

Click "Preview" to see exactly what will happen, then "Fix" to execute.
