Rollback Guide

How to undo actions taken by GetInfraDesk.

✅ Rollback-first design
GetInfraDesk is built rollback-first. Every action that can be reversed, will show a rollback option in your Execution History.
Stopped EC2 instance✓ Reversible

Go to Execution History → Find the action → Click "Rollback". GetInfraDesk will start the instance immediately. Takes less than 1 minute.

GP2 → GP3 volume migration✓ Reversible

Go to AWS Console → EC2 → Volumes → Select the volume → Actions → Modify Volume → Change type back to gp2. No downtime required.

EC2 schedule (on/off)✓ Reversible

Go to Execution History → Find the schedule → Click "Rollback". This removes the EventBridge schedule and Lambda function. Instance returns to always-on.

Deleted unattached EBS volume✓ Reversible

GetInfraDesk takes a snapshot before deleting. Go to AWS Console → EC2 → Snapshots → Find the GetInfraDesk snapshot → Create Volume from Snapshot.

Released Elastic IP✗ Not reversible

Elastic IPs cannot be recovered once released. GetInfraDesk marks these as non-reversible in the preview. Always review before confirming.

RDS right-size✓ Reversible

GetInfraDesk takes a snapshot before resizing. You can restore from snapshot if needed. Go to RDS Console → Snapshots → Restore.
